Fire Rated ECU Units + Firestopping

Evolutions were instructed by Saltash Construction on behalf of Southwark Council to undertake the installation of an Fire rated ECU cover to the exposed electrical units in the communals of over 200 properties+.
These works also consisted of;
- Installation of a fire rated loft hatch
- Installation of firestopping to services and penetrations
- Installation of fire action signage
How we Completed
Conducting the installations by removing any existing covers/fire stopping and replacing for our fire rated alternatives. Evolutions worked alongside Saltash to ensure that appointments with council tenants were met and conducted ontime.
The Goal
To rectify issues raised on Southwark Council’s yearly FRA of their HMO stock.
Final Results
A large number of properties were rectified for all items relevant to Evolutions (unfire rated covers, firestopping etc)
