Evolutions were able to completely overhaul the fire compartments of 228 Flats in Anchors & 51 Patteson Road aswell as the properties communal compartments rectifying all penetrations or defects.
Evolutions were instructed to undertake the required remedials to the communals in all blocks and internals of the properties in the largest blocks.
Thankfully, every compartment throughout the buildings was inspected, rectified and restored to a fire resisting standard proven by tested and traceable materials by Evolutions Fire Protection in house.
Areas rectified were the following;
- Inside all flats (party walls, protected corridor, vertical penetrations etc)
- Corridors
- Plantroom
- Car Parks
- Risers
- Staircases
- Lobbies
How we Completed
Working closely with the managing body EWS Limited, Evolutions devised a phased, floor by floor approach to each block. Ensuring all areas where completed before moving onto the next floor. By doing it in this method Evolutions removed wasted trips and consolidated noise and disturbance to a select time window.
The Goal
To rectify all areas of ineffective compartmentation. In doing so would allow the building to operate as per its fire strategy and provide the nessecary time to escape & for fire services to operate.
Final Results
Thousand of penetrations, linear joints were sealed using certified solutions to ensure the compartmentation within has been restored to a high standard.
